Hi, I’m Denise Steinbach—a lover of family adventures, soft blankets, and writing stories that spark wonder in children’s hearts.

But first and foremost, I’m a mom of two wonderful sons who are the heart of my inspiration.

I’ve spent countless hours reading bedtime stories, answering curious (and often unexpected) questions, and watching my boys’ eyes light up when their imagination blooms. Most of my stories begin in those simple daily moments—during the sleepy snuggles, during our play time, or mid-answering a question I never saw coming. (Oh, and yes, sometimes they’re inspired by those mysterious little fingerprints on the couch that no one remembers leaving.)

In other words, I love children.

I love their curiosity, imagination, and unfiltered honesty. And their magical way of seeing the world.

Creating meaningful stories for the young little hearts (and the grownups who read with them) is my true calling. My books teach kindness, courage, and wonder through storytelling.

Stories have always been my way of making magic possible in real life—and sharing this magic with children is one of the most beautiful adventures I know.
